Ingredients
- 2 cups elbow pasta
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 onion
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 cans condensed tomato soup
- 1 can (10 3/4 oz) water
- 2 tsp sugar
Steps
- Boil the elbow pasta in salted water for 8 to 10 minutes, then drain it.
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat, and cook the onion and garlic for 4 minutes.
- Add the ground beef, salt, and pepper, and cook for 6 minutes until it reaches 160 F.
- Stir in the tomato soup, water, and sugar, then simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add the drained pasta and stir over low heat for 3 minutes.
