Ingredients

  • 1 ribs rack pork spare
  • 1/4 cup onion
  • 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 dry bay leaf

Steps

  1. Cut the rib rack into three sections and heat the oven to 400 F.
  2. Cook the onion in oil in a 2-quart saucepan for 5 minutes.
  3. Add ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and bay leaf, then simmer the glaze for 5 minutes.
  4. Arrange the ribs in a 9-by-13-inch pan, cover with foil, and bake for 30 minutes.
  5. Brush the ribs with glaze and bake uncovered for 15 minutes, until they reach at least 145 F.
