Ingredients
- 4 lb chuck roast
- 1 onion
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- 1 packet au jus gravy mix
- 8 pepperoncini peppers
- 1/4 cup pepperoncini juice
- 1/4 cup butter
Steps
- Cut the onion into wedges and place it in a 6-quart slow cooker.
- Set the roast over the onion and sprinkle it with the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix.
- Add the pepperoncini, pepperoncini juice, and butter.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours, until fork-tender and the center reaches at least 145 F.
