3 cups sifted cake flour

1 tbsp pure vanilla extract
3 cups granulated sugar

Steps

Heat the oven to 325 F and grease a 10-inch tube pan with cooking oil.
Beat the butter and sugar in a large bowl until light, then add the eggs one at a time.
Mix in the vanilla, salt, and heavy cream, then fold in the sifted cake flour.
Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 75 to 85 minutes, until a tester comes out clean.
