  • 3 cups chopped peeled tart apples
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cups quick-cooking oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans

Steps

  1. Heat the oven to 350 F and lightly oil a 9-by-13-inch baking dish.
  2. Mix the apples, cranberries, sugar, and 3 tablespoons flour, then spread the mixture in the dish.
  3. Mix the oats, remaining flour, brown sugar, butter, and pecans until crumbly.
  4. Scatter the topping over the fruit.
  5. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, until the fruit bubbles and the topping is browned.
