Steps

Cut the potatoes into 1-inch pieces and place them in a 6-quart Instant Pot with the water, salt, and pepper.
Seal the lid and cook at high pressure for 8 minutes.
Release the pressure naturally for 5 minutes, then carefully release the remaining pressure.
