Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp orange zest
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract
  • 1/2 cup pistachios
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Steps

  1. Beat the butter and powdered sugar in a large bowl until smooth.
  2. Mix in the orange zest, vanilla, almond extract, pistachios, and cranberries.
  3. Stir in the flour and salt until a soft dough forms.
  4. Shape the dough into a log, wrap it, and chill it for 2 hours.
  5. Heat the oven to 350 F and slice the dough into 20 cookies on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, then cool the cookies on the baking sheet for 10 minutes.
