Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 tsp fine sea salt
- 12 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup honey
- 12 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 tsp fine sea salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 1/2 cups coarsely chopped pecans
Steps
- Heat the oven to 350 F and grease a 9-by-13-inch pan with cooking oil.
- Mix 12 tablespoons butter with the flour, powdered sugar, and salt, then press the dough into the pan.
- Bake the crust for 15 minutes.
- Melt the remaining butter with the brown sugar, honey, cream, salt, and vanilla in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir in the pecans, spread the filling over the crust, and bake for 25 minutes.
- Cool the bars completely before cutting them into squares.
