Ingredients

4 cups rice cereal
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup almond butter
1/4 tsp fine sea salt
1/4 cup chocolate chips
1/4 cup montmorency tart cherries

Steps

Line an 8-inch square pan with parchment or lightly oil it.
Warm the honey and almond butter in a saucepan over low heat for 3 minutes.
Stir in the cocoa powder and salt, then remove the pan from the heat.
Fold in the rice cereal and tart cherries until coated, then press the mixture firmly into the pan.
Melt the chocolate chips in a small heatproof bowl over simmering water for 3 minutes and spread them over the bars.
Chill for 10 minutes, then cut into 16 pieces.
