2 lb brussels sprouts
1/3 cup slivered almonds
1 large shallot
1/3 cup plus 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
2 1/2 tsp kosher salt
3 tbsp aged sherry vinegar
4 tbsp crème fraîche
1/2 tsp mustard powder
1 tbsp stone ground mustard
1/4 cup honey
1/2 tsp freshly cracked black pepper

Steps

Heat the oven to 425 F.
Trim and halve the Brussels sprouts, then toss them with one-third cup oil and 2 teaspoons salt.
Roast the sprouts on a large baking sheet for 20 minutes, add the almonds, and roast for 5 minutes more.
Whisk the remaining oil, vinegar, crème fraîche, mustard powder, stone-ground mustard, honey, pepper, and remaining salt.
Toss the hot sprouts and almonds with the sauce and sliced shallot.
