Ingredients

3 cups raw shelled sunflower seeds
1/4 cup coconut sugar
2 tbsp virgin coconut oil
1 pinch pink himalayan sea salt or other fine sea salt (optional)
1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 vanilla bean (optional)

Steps

Roast the sunflower seeds on a baking sheet at 350 F for 10 minutes.
Cool the seeds for 3 minutes.
Blend the seeds in a food processor for 8 minutes, scraping the bowl as needed.
Add coconut oil, coconut sugar, vanilla, salt, cinnamon, and vanilla bean, if using.
Blend for 4 minutes until smooth.
