Ingredients
- 1 pkg barilla®spaghetti
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 chipotle peppers
- salt and pepper to taste (optional)
Steps
- Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the spaghetti until tender, following the package timing.
- Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the ground beef and cook for 6 to 8 minutes, breaking it apart, until it reaches 160 F.
- Stir in the chopped chipotle peppers and cook for 2 minutes.
- Toss the spaghetti with the beef, adding reserved pasta water as needed.
