The amounts listed are small for a full dinner, so this price per serving is likely low. Plan on a side or a bigger portion.

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp sweet paprika
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 5-pound bone-in pork butt

  • 1 white onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 cup beef or chicken stock
  • 1/2 cup ketchup

Steps

  1. Mix the brown sugar, paprika, cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper, then coat the pork.

  3. Place the onion and garlic in a 6-quart slow cooker, then add the pork, stock, ketchup, and vinegar.
