Ingredients
- 1 2-3 pounds porterhouse steak
- 1 tbsp oil
- salt and pepper
- 1/2 cup salted butter
- 2 tbsp fresh minced garlic
- 2 1/2 tbsp fresh chopped dill
Steps
- Pat the steak dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Heat the oil in a 12-inch skillet over high heat.
- Sear the steak for 4 minutes per side.
- Lower the heat to medium and cook until the center reaches 145 F.
- Melt the butter with garlic and dill in the skillet, then spoon it over the steak.
- Rest the steak for 3 minutes before slicing.
