Ingredients

  • 4 small peaches
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp water (optional)
  • 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 1/3 cup vanilla ice cream

Steps

  1. Slice the peaches and place them in a medium saucepan.
  2. Stir the sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and water together, then pour the mixture over the peaches.
  3. Cook over medium heat for 6 to 8 minutes, stirring gently, until the peaches soften and the juices thicken.
  4. Whip the heavy cream in a small bowl until soft peaks form.
  5. Spoon the warm peaches over the vanilla ice cream and top with whipped cream.
