Ingredients
- 1/2 lb ripe cherry tomatoes
- 1/4 red onion
- 3/4 clove garlic
- sea salt (optional)
- 1/4 cup quality extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1 lemon
- freshly ground black pepper (optional)
- optional fresh basil
Steps
- Halve the cherry tomatoes and thinly slice the red onion.
- Mince the garlic and place it with the tomatoes and onion in a bowl.
- Whisk the olive oil, vinegar, lemon juice, salt, and pepper together.
- Pour the dressing over the vegetables and toss gently.
