2 lb sweet potatoes or yams
3 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
1/4 cup honey
2 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1/3 cup chopped pecans

Steps

Heat the oven to 425 F and line a large baking sheet with cooking oil.
Peel the sweet potatoes, cut them into wedges, and toss them with olive oil, kosher salt, and pepper.
Roast the wedges on the baking sheet for 22 minutes.
Stir the honey, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg together in a small bowl.
Toss the hot wedges with the honey mixture and pecans, then roast for 8 minutes more.
