Ingredients
- 2 6-8 ounce salmon filets
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley leaves
- 1 garlic glove
- salt and pepper to taste (optional)
- oil or spray for grill grates
Steps
- Mash the butter, basil, parsley, and garlic together with salt and pepper.
- Heat an oiled grill to medium-high, about 400 F.
- Grill the salmon for 5 minutes per side, until it flakes easily or reaches 145 F.
- Top the hot salmon with the basil butter and rest for 2 minutes.
