Ingredients

  • 12 oz shaved brussels sprouts
  • 1 tbsp avocado or olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup walnuts
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 4 tbsp salted butter
  • 1 1/2 tbsp gochujang sauce
  • 2 tsp toasted sesame oil
  • 2 tsp brown sugar (optional)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 tsp soy sauce

Steps

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the walnuts and toast for 3 minutes, then transfer them to a bowl.
  3. Add the Brussels sprouts and salt, and sauté for 8 minutes until tender.
  4. Melt the butter in the skillet and stir in the gochujang, sesame oil, garlic, and soy sauce.
  5. Return the walnuts, add the cranberries, and toss everything together for 2 minutes.
