Ingredients

  • 800 g / 1.75 lb carrots
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2 tbsp / 30g unsalted butter
  • 4 tsp white sugar
  • 3/4 tsp cooking salt / kosher salt
  • 2 tsp finely chopped parsley

Steps

  1. Peel and cut the carrots into even pieces for 5 minutes.
  2. Place the carrots, water, butter, sugar, and salt in a 12-inch skillet.
  3. Cover and simmer over medium heat for 15 minutes.
  4. Uncover and cook for 3 minutes, until the liquid forms a glaze.
  5. Stir in the parsley and cook for 2 minutes.
