Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/5 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/5 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp lemon zest (optional)
  • 2 tbsp finely grated parmesan cheese

Steps

  1. Heat the oven to 425 F.
  2. Drain, rinse, and thoroughly dry the chickpeas.
  3. Toss the chickpeas with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, oregano, pepper, and lemon zest.
  4. Spread them on a baking sheet and roast for 18 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle Parmesan over the chickpeas and roast for 2 more minutes.
