Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Steps

  1. Heat the oven to 350F and line two baking sheets with parchment.
  2. Beat the butter and sugar in a large bowl until smooth, then mix in the vanilla.
  3. Stir the flour, baking powder, and salt into the butter mixture.
  4. Fold in both kinds of chocolate chips until evenly mixed.
  5. Drop 24 rounded spoonfuls onto the sheets and bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
  6. Cool the cookies on the sheets for 2 minutes before moving them to a rack.
