Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/8 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 1/2 cup water

Steps

  1. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness and coat them with flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Melt half the butter in a large skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken for 5 minutes per side.
  3. Transfer the chicken to a plate when it reaches 165 F.
  4. Add the water, bouillon cubes, and lemon juice to the skillet, then simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Whisk in the remaining butter and return the chicken to the skillet for 3 minutes, turning it in the sauce.
