Ingredients
- 2 lb ground beef
- 3/4 cup sliced sweet pickles
- 1 small onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 3/4 cups thousand island salad dressing
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 package (32 oz) frozen tater tots
- 1 1/4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Steps
- Heat the oven to 400 F.
- Brown the ground beef, onion, and garlic in a large skillet over medium heat for 10 minutes.
- Stir in the salt, pepper, pickles, and dressing.
- Spread the beef mixture in a 9-by-13-inch baking dish and top it with the frozen tater tots.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
- Sprinkle the cheddar over the tots and bake for 5 minutes, until melted and the beef reaches 160 F.
