Steps

Heat the oven to 350 F and grease a 9-by-13-inch baking pan.
Whisk flour, sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, allspice, and nutmeg in a large bowl.
Whisk eggs, oil, yogurt, pineapple, and vanilla in another bowl, then stir them into the dry mixture.
Fold in the carrots and pecans, spread the batter in the pan, and bake for 35 to 40 minutes until firm.
Beat cream cheese, butter, yogurt, salt, powdered sugar, and pineapple preserves until smooth.
Cool the cake completely, spread the frosting over it, and cut into pieces.
