Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 cup yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 3 1/2 tbsp milk
  • 2 tbsp sprinkles
  • 16 oz almond bark or vanilla flavored coating
  • 4 tbsp yellow cake mix
  • sprinkles

Steps

  1. Microwave the flour in a bowl for 1 minute, stir, and continue in 15-second bursts until it reaches 160 F.
  2. Microwave the cake mix in a separate bowl until it reaches 160 F, then cool both mixtures for 3 minutes.
  3. Beat the butter, sugar, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
  4. Stir in the flour, cake mix, and milk, then fold in the sprinkles.
  5. Roll the mixture into 24 balls and chill them for 3 minutes.
  6. Melt the almond bark in 20-second microwave bursts, stirring between each burst.
  7. Dip the balls in the coating and top them with sprinkles.
