Typical price: Salefork's estimate of an everyday US shelf price for each ingredient. Pick your city to price it from this week's ad.

The amounts listed are small for a full dinner, so this price per serving is likely low. Plan on a side or a bigger portion.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb pork loin
  • salt and pepper to season
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup white onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 3/4 cup pitted prunes

  • 5/8 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme

  3. Cover the Dutch oven and bake at 350 F for 45 minutes.
  4. Uncover and bake for 8 to 12 minutes more, until the pork reaches 145 F in the center.
