2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
2 cups unsalted roasted peanuts

Steps

Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment or lightly oil it.
Cook sugar, corn syrup, and water in a heavy saucepan over medium heat until the syrup reaches 250 F.
Stir in butter and salt, then continue cooking until the mixture reaches 300 F.
Remove the pan from the heat, quickly stir in peanuts and baking soda, and spread the candy onto the baking sheet.
Cool the brittle for 30 minutes until hard, then break it into pieces.
