Steps

Grease a 9-by-13-inch pan with a little butter.
Melt the butter in a large pot over medium-low heat, add the marshmallows, and stir for 4 to 5 minutes until smooth.
Remove the pot from the heat, fold in the cereal and chocolate chips, and mix until coated.
