Ingredients

  • 1 cup salted butter
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup mini semisweet chocolate chips

Steps

  1. Heat the oven to 350 F and line two baking sheets.
  2. Beat the butter and both sugars until creamy.
  3. Beat in the eggs and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Stir in the salt, baking powder, baking soda, and flour until a dough forms.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips and drop teaspoonfuls of dough onto the sheets.
  6. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, then cool the cookies on the sheets for 3 minutes.
