Ingredients

  • 1 lb baby carrots
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp table salt
  • ground black pepper to taste (optional)

Steps

  1. Add the baby carrots, water, and salt to a pressure cooker for 2 minutes.
  2. Cook at high pressure for 3 minutes.
  3. Release pressure naturally for 5 minutes, then vent any remaining pressure.
  4. Drain the carrots and return them to the pot.
  5. Cook with butter, brown sugar, and pepper on Sauté for 5 minutes.
