Ingredients

  • 6 large chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup liquid honey
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup cold water

Steps

  1. Whisk the soy sauce, honey, ketchup, ginger, garlic powder, and water in the Instant Pot.
  2. Add the chicken thighs and turn them to coat with the sauce.
  3. Seal the pot and cook on high pressure for 10 minutes, then release the pressure naturally for 5 minutes.
  4. Check that the chicken reaches 165 F, then transfer the thighs to a plate.
  5. Whisk the cornstarch with cold water, stir it into the pot, and simmer on sauté for 2 to 3 minutes until thickened.
  6. Return the chicken to the pot and coat it with the glaze.
