24 large shrimp
18 wonton wrappers
1 1/2 tsp oil
2 1/2 cloves garlic
6 oz cream cheese
2 tbsp pesto
1/3 cup chopped green onion (optional)
salt and pepper (optional)
red pepper flakes and scallions to garnish (optional)

Steps

Heat the oven to 350 F and coat 18 cups of a muffin pan with oil.
Press one wonton wrapper into each prepared cup and bake for 5 minutes.
Cook the garlic and shrimp in oil in a skillet over medium heat for 3 minutes, until the shrimp reach 145 F and turn opaque.
Mix the shrimp, cream cheese, pesto, green onion, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
Fill the wonton cups and bake for 7 minutes, then garnish with scallions and red pepper flakes.
