Ingredients
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 kg / 2 lb cauliflower
- 8 oz / 250 g potatoes
- 1 large onion
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups chicken broth / stock
- salt and pepper to taste (optional)
- thyme
- cream and/or olive oil
Steps
- Chop the cauliflower, potatoes, onion, and garlic into small pieces.
- Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat, then cook the onion and garlic for 3 minutes.
- Add the cauliflower, potatoes, milk, broth, thyme, salt, and pepper, then bring to a gentle boil.
