Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup mini semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 cups semisweet or milk chocolate chips

Steps

  1. Heat the oven to 300 F and spread the flour on a baking sheet.
  2. Bake the flour for 7 minutes, then cool it completely.
  3. Beat the butter, brown sugar, white sugar, and vanilla in a bowl until creamy.
  4. Mix in the cooled flour and salt, then fold in the mini chocolate chips.
  5. Shape the dough into 20 small balls and chill them for 60 minutes.
  6. Melt the remaining chocolate chips in a bowl over simmering water, dip the balls, and chill for 30 minutes.
