- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
- 1/4 cup unsweetened apple sauce
- 1 tbsp apple pie spice
- 1/2 tsp each: cinnamon and kosher salt
- 4 cups old fashioned rolled oats
- 3/4 cups walnuts
- 1/2 cup pecans
- 1 cup dried apple chips
Steps
- Heat the oven to 300°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment.
- Warm the honey, brown sugar, maple syrup, applesauce, coconut oil, apple pie spice, cinnamon, and salt in a saucepan over medium-low heat for 4 minutes.
- Stir the oats, walnuts, and pecans into the warm mixture until evenly coated.
- Spread the mixture on the baking sheet and bake for 40 minutes, stirring after 20 minutes.
- Cool the granola for 25 minutes, then stir in the dried apple chips.
