Ingredients

1 tbsp organic canola oil
1 1/2 tbsp powdered/fine sugar
2 tsp brown sugar or coconut sugar
1 tsp maple syrup
1 tsp orange juice
1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Steps

Heat the oven to 350 F and lightly oil a small baking pan.
Stir the canola oil, powdered sugar, brown sugar, maple syrup, orange juice, vanilla, nutritional yeast, and salt in a bowl.
Mix in the flour and baking soda until a soft dough forms.
Fold in the chocolate chunks and divide the dough into two portions on the pan.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden.
Cool the cookies on the pan for 5 minutes and sprinkle them with sea salt if desired.
