Ingredients
- 1 package (12 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 tbsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1 box (12 oz) rice chex or corn chex
- 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar (optional)
Steps
- Place the cereal in a large bowl and set it aside.
- Microwave the chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter in a large bowl for 30 seconds, then stir.
- Microwave the mixture for 20 to 30 seconds more and stir until smooth.
- Stir in the vanilla and salt, then pour the coating over the cereal.
- Fold gently until coated, toss with the powdered sugar, and cool for 5 minutes.
