Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 lb imperial cheese
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 4 cups rice krispies

Steps

  1. Heat the oven to 350 F and line two baking sheets.
  2. Beat the butter, cheese, and salt until smooth.
  3. Mix in the flour, then fold in the rice cereal.
  4. Shape the mixture into 24 small balls and place them on the sheets.
  5. Flatten each ball slightly and bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until golden.
  6. Cool the crisps on the sheets for 5 minutes.
