Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter + 2 tbs
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cups quick-cooking rolled oats
  • 1 cans (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 packages (12 oz) semisweet chocolate pieces
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 pkg m&m’s

Steps

  1. Heat the oven to 350 F and grease a 9-by-13-inch baking pan.
  2. Beat 1/2 cup butter, brown sugar, egg, and 1 teaspoon vanilla, then stir in flour, baking soda, and oats.
  3. Press the oat mixture into the pan and bake for 12 minutes.
  4. Melt the remaining butter, condensed milk, chocolate pieces, and 2 teaspoons vanilla in a saucepan over low heat.
  5. Spread the chocolate mixture over the warm crust, sprinkle with candy pieces, and cool for 10 minutes before cutting.
