1 cup sugar

yellow food coloring

1/2 tsp vanilla

Steps

Heat the oven to 350 F and grease a 9-by-13-inch pan.
Beat butter, sugar, egg, and almond extract, then mix in flour, baking powder, and salt.
Divide the dough into three portions, tint one yellow and one orange, and leave one plain.
Press the plain dough into the pan, add the orange dough, then add the yellow dough.
Bake for 20 minutes and cool in the pan for 5 minutes.
