Ingredients
- 1 head cabbage
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 6 slices bacon
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- fresh parsley
Steps
- Heat the oven to 425 F and line a large baking sheet.
- Cut the cabbage into six 1-inch rounds and place them on the baking sheet.
- Mix the olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper, then brush it over both sides of the cabbage.
- Bake the cabbage and bacon for 20 minutes, turning the bacon once.
- Top the cabbage with crumbled bacon and mozzarella, then bake for 5 minutes until the cheese melts.
- Sprinkle the cabbage steaks with parsley before serving.
