Ingredients
- 1 boneless chicken breast
- 12 oz package wonton wraps
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
- 2 minced green onions
- 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
- vegetable/canola/peanut oil for frying (optional)
Steps
- Place the chicken breast in a saucepan, cover it with water, and simmer for 12 to 15 minutes until it reaches 165 F.
- Cool the chicken briefly, shred it, and mix it with cream cheese, buffalo sauce, green onions, and garlic powder.
- Place filling in 24 wonton wrappers, fold each wrapper, and seal the edges with water.
- Heat 1 inch of oil in a deep skillet to 350 F.
- Fry the rangoons in batches for 2 to 3 minutes per side, then drain them on a towel.
