Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 tbsp baking cocoa
  • 1/2 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped pecans

Steps

  1. Heat the oven to 350 F and grease an 8-inch square pan.
  2. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat.
  3. Stir in the brown sugar and bourbon until smooth, then cool for five minutes.
  4. Mix in the flour and cocoa, then fold in the chocolate chips and pecans.
  5. Spread the batter in the pan and bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
  6. Cool the brownies in the pan for 10 minutes before cutting them into bites.
