Ingredients

  • 1 box brownie mix
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 large egg white
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate
  • 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate
  • 1/4 cup mini semisweet chocolate chips

Steps

  1. Heat the oven to 325 F and line a rimmed baking sheet with cooking oil.
  2. Melt the butter and 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate together, then cool slightly.
  3. Stir in the brownie mix, egg white, and water until smooth, then spread the batter very thinly on the sheet.
  4. Bake for 25 minutes, until the center is set.
  5. Melt the remaining semisweet chocolate, spread it over the warm brownie, and sprinkle with the mini chocolate chips.
  6. Cool for 10 minutes, then chill for 15 minutes until firm and break into pieces.
