Ingredients
- 1/2 breadfruit
- 1/2 onion
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 125 g butter
- 3 onions
- 1 tbsp chopped garlic
- 500 ml tinned tomatos
- 3 tbsp parsley
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- to taste salt (optional)
- to taste pepper (optional)
- 250 ml water
- to taste red pepper sauce (optional)

Steps
- Peel, core, and cut the breadfruit into chunks.
- Boil the breadfruit in a large pot with water for 20 to 25 minutes, until tender.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat, then cook the sliced onions and garlic for 6 minutes.
- Add the tomatoes, water, butter, salt, pepper, and red pepper sauce, then simmer for 12 minutes.
- Drain the breadfruit and fold it into the sauce.
- Stir in the lime juice and parsley, then cook for 2 minutes and garnish with parsley.
