1 cup whipping cream
1 1/2 tbsp sugar
1 12-14 oz can of cherry pie filling
3 tbsp grated dark chocolate
1 inch nine baked chocolate cake

Steps

Whip the cream with the sugar until firm peaks form.
Cut the baked chocolate cake into thin slices and line a 1 1/2-quart bowl.
Spread half the whipped cream over the cake and spoon the cherry pie filling into the center.
Cover the cherries with the remaining whipped cream and grated dark chocolate.
Seal the bowl with the remaining cake slices, press gently, and chill for 10 minutes.
Invert the zuccotto onto a plate and remove the bowl.
