Ingredients
- 6 egg yolks
- 6 tbsp granulated sugar
- 6 tbsp heavy whipping cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- vegetable oil (optional)
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar (optional)
Steps
- Whisk the egg yolks, granulated sugar, cream, vanilla, butter, and salt in a medium bowl.
- Stir in the flour until a firm dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 3 minutes, then rest it for 10 minutes.
- Roll the dough paper-thin and cut it into 24 strips.
