Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup sifted flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup white granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup coarsely-chopped almond toffee
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Steps

  1. Heat the oven to 350 F and grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
  2. Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
  3. Beat butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth, then beat in eggs and vanilla.
  4. Stir in the flour mixture and almond toffee until just combined.
  5. Spread the batter in the pan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes until set in the center.
  6. Cool the blondies in the pan for 10 minutes before cutting them into squares.
