Typical price: Salefork's estimate of an everyday US shelf price for each ingredient. Pick your city to price it from this week's ad.

The amounts listed are small for a full dinner, so this price per serving is likely low. Plan on a side or a bigger portion.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp finely grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 3/4 lb about 6-7 medium boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 1/2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • green onion and sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Steps

  1. Whisk soy sauce, orange juice, honey, ginger, and sesame oil in a small bowl.
  2. Heat oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat and brown the chicken thighs for 5 minutes per side.
  3. Add butter and the sauce, then simmer uncovered for 8 minutes, turning the chicken once.
  4. Cook until the thickest thigh reaches 165 F and the sauce lightly coats the chicken.
